eVol® is the coupling of two precision devices; a digitally controlled electronic drive and an XCHANGE® enabled analytical syringe

eVol® XR is also available in the eVol® NMR Edition. eVol® NMR Edition uses long needles that allows accurate manipulation of small volumes of sample enabling dilution directly in the analysis tube – even in tubes with the smallest internal diameters. eVol® NMR facilitates in-tube sample mixing and enables recovery of precious samples allowing them to be stored in alternative vessels (such as inexpensive vials) rather than being left in valuable tubes. These tubes can now be emptied for washing and re-use by using the eVol® unit.

It is designed to make everyone an expert because it standardizes liquid handling results independent of the operator’s skill. eVol® improves accuracy and reproducibility and speeds up as well as simplifies laboratory workflows. eVol® has a dispense range from 200 nL – 1mL using a single device and positive displacement analytical syringes enabling it to be used with the majority of solutions – organic, aqueous or hazardous. Because eVol® incorporates standard analytical syringes with needles it can pierce septa. Syringes are easily calibrated in-house or by an outside agency and calibration factors are stored in the electronic handle. Up to 20 methods and custom programs can be saved in the handle. eVol® is programmable to follow laboratory protocols and programs can be password protected. There are 4 functions; Aspirate/Dispense of a single volume, Repeat or Multiple Dispense, Manual Mode for titrations and Custom Programs to meet your laboratory workflows. Applications for eVol® include but are in no way limited to: Preparation of calibration standards, Preparation and addition of internal standards, Precise dispensing of aqueous and non-aqueous liquids, Routine dispensing, Ergonomic operation with substances in a fume hood, Sample dilution, Instrument injections, Eliminating the need for serial dilutions since smaller volumes can be accurately and precisely dispensed, Micro titration and TLC spotting.
