| Description | Reacts equally with free cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and with cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components (in the presence of 5mM EDTA). Recognizes an epitope located between amino acid residues 24 and 40 of cTnI. Not affected by heparin, phosphorylation, oxidation and troponin complex formation. Has no crossreaction with skeletal muscle troponin I. |
