| Description | The human peptide sequence is conserved in all 3 isoforms (Nogo A-C). It is 92% identical in rat Nogo or rat foocen-m1/2 protein. Within the 25-aa region identified for the inhibition of neurite outgrowth (1). Antibody crossreactivity of NogoA12 in various species is not established. Control peptides, because of their low MW (<3kD), are not suitable for Western. It should be used for ELISA or antibody blocking to confirm antibody specificity |
