| Description | Exendin 4 Antibody (clone 24) LS-C65806. Specificity: Raised against full length (1-39) synthetic exendin-4 peptide, amino acid sequence: H-His-Gly-Glu-Gly-Thr-Phe-Thr-Ser-Asp-Leu-Ser-Lys-Gln-Met-Glu-Glu-Glu-Ala-Val-Arg-Leu-Phe-Ile-Glu-Trp-Leu-Lys-Asn-Gly-Gly-Pro-Ser-Ser-Gly-Ala-Pro-Pro-Pro-Ser-NH2. Recognizes exendin-4. No cross-reactivity with GLP-1, GLP-2 (human) or glucagon coated on ELISA wells. There is full reaction with exendin-4 (9-39) when used as coat in ELISA showing an epitope in the 9-39 region. Binds to exendin-4 when coated on ELISA wells and reacts specifically with exendin-4 in solution giving a Ka of 1.8x10e8 in an inhibition ELISA. The binding between this product and exendin-4 is disrupted by 0.1M glycine pH 3. |
