| Description | Leu-Enkephalin Antibody (clone NOC.1) LS-C56153. Recognizes both Met5- and Leu5-enkephalin, secreted peptides which mimic the effect of opiate drugs. Recognizes well established enkephalin immunoreactive sites, but does not bind to areas known to contain beta-endorphin or dynorphin in IHC. Cross reactivity with Met5-enkephalin and lack of reactivity with the peptide Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu and other related peptides by inhibition of radiolabeled Leu5-enkephalin binding is noted. |
