| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). Trypsin hydrolyzes peptides, amides, and ester bonds involving the carboxyl groups of L-arginine or L-lysine. Increased serum values of this enzyme and/or its zymogen (trypsinogen) have been found in patients with cystic fibrosis.
