| Description | The human Tenascin X (TNX) BioAssay™ ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich assay for the detection of TNX in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Cell lysates and tissue homogenates, though not tested, may potentially be used as samples. Detection Range: 1.563-100ng/ml Sensitivity: <0.938ng/ml Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to TNX. Standards and samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells followed by a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to TNX. Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain TNX, Biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Streptavidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. Th |
