| Description | ADIPOR1/Adiponectin Receptor 1 Antibody (aa2-26) LS-C187855. Recognizes human Adiponectin receptor protein 1, also known as ADIPOR1 or Adiponectin receptor protein 1. ADIPOR1 is a 375 amino acid ~43 kD multipass transmembrane protein and receptor for adiponectin. Recognizes an epitope within the N-terminal (NT) region of Adiponectin Receptor protein 1. AdipoR1 is implicated in metabolic pathways, mediating increased fatty acid oxidation and glucose uptake by adiponectin. The expression of AdipoR1 in adipose tissue is decreased in obese humans, whilst weight loss results in increased expression. AHP1824 is reported as suitable for use in immunocytochemistry of acetone fixed cells. |
