| Description | Sample Type: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates Intended Use: For the quantitative determination of mouse T-lymphocyte activation antigen CD80 (CD80) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates. Sensitivity: 3.9pg/ml Range: 15.6-1000pg/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of mouse CD80. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse CD80 and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for CD80 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CD80 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CD80 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells.
