| Description | Purity ~97% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC). Human TARC is a recently discovered protein belonging to the beta-chemokine (C-C) family of cytokines, secreted by activated monocytes, thymic and lymph node dendritic. It is chemotactic towards activated T cells (Th2 subset) which express express CCR4 but ineffective on monocytes. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human TARC, a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 71aa, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8kD (71aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard.
