| Product Name | UGP2, Recombinant, Human, aa1-508, His-Tag |
| Description | Purity ~85% (SDS-PAGE). UGP2 is an important intermediary in mammalian carbohydrate interconversions. It transfers a glucose moiety from glucose-1-phosphate to MguTP and forms uDP-glucose and MgPPi. In liver and muscle tissue, uDP-glucose is a direct precursor of glycogen; in lactating mammary gland it is converted to uDP-galactose which is then converted to lactose. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-508 from human uGP2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~59.3kD (531aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. |
