It is associated with the secretory pathway and released in biological fluids. This protein can bind to cells derived from T- and B-lymphocytes, and may regulate cyclosporine A -mediated immunosuppression. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-188 from mouse Ppib, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~22.7kD (207aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Endotoxin: 1000nmol/min/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme that cleaves 1nmole of suc-AAFP-PNA/minute at 37°C in Tris-HCl pH 8.0 using chymotrypsin.
