This Aryl hydrocarbon Receptor antibody is useful for Immunohistochemistry-paraffin embedded sections, Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, ELISA and Western blot. In Western blot a band is seen 90 to 105 kDa representing AHR (molecular weight varies by species and by strain). In ICC/IF, cytoplasmic staining was observed in MCF-7 cells. In IHC-P, staining was observed in the cytoplasm and nucleus of mouse prostate. Prior to immunostaining paraffin tissues, antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended. The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors. |
