| Description | MAP2 Antibody (AP) LS-C509648. Specificity: Highly specific to MAP2a, b, c and shows no cross-reactivity with other MAPs, tau and tubulin. Recognizes MAP2a and MAP2b (~280kD doublet) and MAP2c (70kD). Its epitope maps in the first 151 amino acids of MAP2. Reacts with dendrites and cell bodies of neurons. Species cross-reactivity: Human, bovine, rat, Xenopus and quail. |
