| Description | The 14-aa human sequence is 100% conserved in porcine, 92% in equine, monkey, 85% in sheep and rabbit and 78% in chicken, feline and canine motilin. Control peptide, because of its small size (2-3kD), is not recommended for Western. It should be used in ELISA or antibody blocking experiments (use 5-10 ug of control peptide per 1 ug of aff pure IgG or 1 ul of antiserum) to demonstrate antibody specificity/.. Full length motilin is also available for various studies. |
