| Description | Recognizes M1 Receptor (451-460) and the reactivity of M1 Receptor is 80%. Does not react to M2 Receptor, M3 Receptor, M4 Receptor and M5 Receptor. Has been found to stain specifically the M1 receptor in Western immunoblots of whole rat brain homogenates. The antiserum was tested for recognition of the other muscarinic receptor subtypes by ELISA and immunocytochemical techniques. |
