| Description | Recognizes human MMP-9 at 92kD and 86kD (non-reducing conditions) which are identified as pro (latent) and active forms of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9; also known as 92kD and collagenase IV or gelatinase B). Reacts with the complex (~200kD) of MMP-9 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1)1. Does not cross-react with pro and active forms of MMP-2. |
