| Description | Recognizes rat integrin a1b1 (VLA-1). Specificity was confirmed by ability to immunoprecipitate alpha1 (Mr~200kD) and beta1 (Mr~120kD) from 125I-surface labeled PC12 cells as well as reciprocal depletion of VLA-1 antigen from cell lysate with antiserum against the cytoplasmic domain of a1 integrin subunit. Does not inhibit VLA-1 mediated adhesion to matrix proteins. |
