Isoform Sequence Homology: Human adipocyte lipid binding protein (hALBP, 132aa), mouse/rat H-FABPs: 100%; human muscle FABP, porcine and bovine H-FABPs: 91%. No significant homology is seen with other isoforms of FABPs. Species Sequence Homology: The sequence is also quite conserved in species as diverse as fish and C. elegans FABP. |
