| Description | The human peptide sequence is 84% conserved in monkey MCHR2. No significant sequence homology is seen with other MCHR1 or other GPCR. Antibody crossreactivity in various species is not established. Control peptide, because of its low MW (<3kD), is not suitable for Western. It should be used in ELISA or antibody blocking experiments (use 5-10 ug of control peptide per 1 ug IgG or 1 ul of antiserum) to confirm antibody specificity. |
