| Description | Purity >95% by SDS-PAGE, MW: 94.7 kDa. The recombinant mouse gp130/Fc chimera is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer consists of 843 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 94.7 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of rm gp130/Fc monomer is approximately 120-130 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the mouse gp130 (NP_034690.3) extracellular domain (Met 1-Glu 617) was fused with the C-terminal polyhistidine-tagged Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. |
