| Description | Purified by Ni2+/NTA-agarose. ~77% by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining. N-terminal His6-tagged recombinant full-length human PI 3-kinase (p120g) expressed by baculovirus in Sf21 insect cells. Specific Activity: ~35U/mg, where one unit of PI3 Kinase (p120γ) activity is defined as 1nmol phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate formed/minute at 22°C with a final ATP concentration of 100uM. Quality Control Testing MS Tryptic Fingerprint: Confirmed identity as PI 3-Kinase (p120g) with 37% amino acid coverage of the translated native sequence Kinase Assay: 0.05-12.5ng of PI 3-Kinase (p120g) was assayed in a 30 minute reaction. |
