| Description | Recognizes the human Carcinoembryonic Antigen, a 180-200kD phosphoprotein, 90kD PI-linked protein, expressed on mature human granulocytes. After activation of the granulocutes, expression the antigen is strongly increased. Reacts with 100% of mature human peripheral granulocytes. Reacts weakly with malignant cells of patients with B-cell derived chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL). Does not react with normal human peripheral B-cells, T-cells, monocytes or platelets. |
