Sensitivity: 2mIU/ml Range: 8-240mIU/ml Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human HCG. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human HCG and analogues was observed. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for HCG has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for HCG. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of HCG bound in the initial step.
