| Description | The rat IL-1 alpha BioAssay™ ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of rat IL-1 alpha. Sample Type: Serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants Intended Use: For use in quantitative protein detection, establishing normal range and validation of antibody array results. Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of IL-1 alpha is typically <15pg/ml. Range: 15-8000pg/ml Specificity: Recognizes rat IL-1 alpha. This ELISA kit shows no cross-reactivity with the following cytokines tested: rat CINC-2, CINC-3, CNTF, Fractalkine, IL-1b, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, GM-CSF, IFN-g, Leptin, Lix, MCP-1, MIP-3a, b-NGF, TIMP-1, TNF-a. Test Principle: This BioAssay™ employs an antibody specific for IL-1 alpha coated on a 96-well plate.
