| Description | Trypsin is a pancreatic serine protease with substrate specificity based upon positively charged lysine and arginine side chains. Trypsin is inhibited by organophosphorous compounds such as diisopropylfluorophosphate and porcine-derived inhibitors. Quality Control: SDS-PAGE Activity: ≥180u/mg Protein (1mg trypsin ≥ 180 TAME units, 10,350 BAEE units, 3450 USP/NF units) Unit Definition: 1 unit of trypsin hydrolyzes 1umole of p-toluenesulfonyl-L-arginine methyl ester (TAME) per minute at 25°C, pH 8.2, in the presence of 0.01M calcium ion. Virus Testing: None Detected Bovine Mycoplasma, Bovine Adenovirus (BAV), Rabies, Bovine Blue Tongue (BTV), Reovirus (REO), Bovine Parvovirus (BPV), Bovine Resp.
