| Description | Purity ~95% (SDS-PAGE). A member of the TNFR superfamily, it is one of the major receptors for tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFalpha). Binding of either TNF-alpha or TNF-beta to TNFRSF1A starts a signal transduction pathway that results in the activation of the transduction factor NF-kappaB, whose target genes are involved in the regulation of inflammatory responses, and, in certain cells induce apoptosis.
