| Applications | Western Blot, Peptide ELISA. WB: Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 38 kDa band in human spleen lysate and an approx. 26 kDa band in human lung lysate after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. The bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Please note that according to the literature this protein is O-glycosylatedscientific literature (PMID: 12672699), which may explain the different sizes of bands we observe given the calculated size of 19.5 kDa band according to NP_054883 and NP_659003. |
