| Applications | Immunohistochemistry, Peptide ELISA. WB: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx. 45 kDa band and 24 kDa band in human brain lysates after 0.1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 14.4 kDa band according to NP_001129.1 and NP_015531.1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands). IHC-Fr: Human hypothalamus shows staining of a group of neuronal cell bodies in the human infundibular (arcuate) nucleus and their varicose axons. |
